Hello my dear Salt & Paperica readers!

It really has been a while since I last posted here on my blog. I hope all of you have been well. Let us just dive in to this new post. I went to a stationery bazaar/event back in July and would love to share with all of you some of the photos I took while I was there. This is going to be more of a visual post and less writing.

Feature of The Month: Tabiyo Shop – NOW OPEN

It’s amazing to see your friends succeeding and making their dreams come true! I would like to wish a big congratulations to the lovely couple on the opening of their first brick-and-mortar store in Seremban.

I can’t even remember when I started purchasing Traveler’s Notebook related items from Tabiyo. If you are not familiar with Tabiyo, they have been running an e-store selling beautifully curated stationery from brands like Traveler’s Company, Midori, Tosawashi, Maste & Classiky to name a few.

So, finally the lovely owners of Tabiyo announced the opening of Tabiyo Store in Seremban on the 9th of October! Since the store was in Seremban, I decided to make it a short stay there to also explore this town with the help of this guide map by Tabiyo.

{2015} I AM THANKFUL

Before 2015 ends, I wanted to write this post. 2015 has been filled with so many ups and downs for me. No matter what it is, I am thankful for everything – the good and the bad.

I feel like i’ve learned a lot this year..  I’ve learned that there will be things that will go wrong and sometimes don’t always get fixed or get put back together the way they were before. I learned that things sometimes don’t turn out the way you planned, or the way you think they should happen. I’ve learned that some broken things stay broken, and I’ve learned that you can get through bad times and keep looking for better ones, as long as you have people who love you.

I guess hard times are good in their own way, too. Because I think its the only way you can achieve true happiness is if you experience true sadness as well. Sometimes you just have to go through the bad stuff to really truly appreciate the good times.

So here are some of the moments in 2015 that I want to mention.

A LOOK BACK AT MY TRAVELER’S NOTEBOOK

Last weekend, mum and I baked 2 cakes; marble and an orange poppy seed cake! We also have so much baking together and it’s always exciting to see how the cakes turn out in the end. Baking is another thing I love doing besides my craze for stationery. It turned out so lovely! What are your other hobbies?

Now, moving on, I thought I would do a look back on some of the previous inserts I have finished up over the past year or so. I love looking at other people’s Traveler’s Notebook and I get a lot inspiration from them. It’s interesting to see how other’s use it on the daily – whether it is for journaling, note taking, planning or sketching. I do think over the past year, my style has slowly evolved and every time I do a page spread, it’s more like trial and error. Sometimes I really love it and sometimes….not so much.
